Not much has changed since the last week. I do have an agreement form ready and I’ve gotten into contact with one person mentioning revisions to their existing website. I’ve been trying to network and I’ve made posts to my personal social media accounts explaining that I’m looking for work, which is how I found the opportunity I mentioned.

Within the first week I still have yet to find an internship. I’ve been watching closely for listings and will be preparing a template for a scope document so that’s ready when the time comes. So far, the class has taught me a lot. I’ve learned how to give myself a professional image online and put myself out there to secure a job. The peer feedback from the discussion posts have been extremely useful for shaping my cover letter and resume to stand out more, and the same can be said for the employment services.
